Hi,
I have nTopng v.2.0.150531 running on a VirtualBox running Ubuntu 14.04.1.
As soon as I try to load data from the historical interface it crashes.
I see that there were a few posts reporting similar issues with the historical interface. Have they been fixed or are still they for rel. 2.1?

Also, I'd like to know where nTopng stores the SQL lite data, because I'm not sure that it did actually store any data even though it "invited" me to load a 5 minute interval.

Finally, when I try to restart nTopng after the crash with ntopng /etc/ntopng/ntopng.conf it apparently restarts, giving the following message:

maurizio@ubuntuMauriPC:/etc/ntopng$ ntopng ./ntopng.conf
26/Jul/2015 18:08:57 [src/Prefs.cpp:793] Logging into /var/tmp/ntopng/ntopng.log 26/Jul/2015 18:08:57 [src/Ntop.cpp:781] Setting local networks to 192.168.0.0/16,172.16.0.0/12,10.0.0.0/8,127.0.0.0/8,0.0.0.0/32,224.0.0.0/8,239.0.0.0/8,255.255.255.255/32,127.0.0.0/8 <http://192.168.0.0/16,172.16.0.0/12,10.0.0.0/8,127.0.0.0/8,0.0.0.0/32,224.0.0.0/8,239.0.0.0/8,255.255.255.255/32,127.0.0.0/8> 26/Jul/2015 18:08:57 [src/Redis.cpp:93] Successfully connected to redis 127.0.0.1:6379@0 26/Jul/2015 18:08:57 [src/Ntop.cpp:755] Parent process is exiting (this is normal).

and the ntopng process is there, but then when I connect via the GUI I don't see any data flowing on eth0 again, although the interface is up'n'running and in PROMISC mode. I have to reboot the VM to make ntopng work correctly again.

The conf file is:

-G=/var/tmp/ntopng.pid
-i=eth0
-F db
-e

How to correctly restart ntopng from the console?

Thanks for your help,
Maurizio
