Using netflow from Cisco 6500 w/nProbe v.7.3.151102 (r4648) for
x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu (Debian 8.2)
& ntopng 2.1.151102 - Professional Edition on a medium network. Starting
nprobe w/nprobe --zmq "tcp://*:5556" -i none -n none --collector-port 2055 and
ntopng via /etc/ntopng/ntopng.conf w/following parameters:

-G=/var/tmp/ntopng.pid

-i=tcp://127.0.0.1:5556

-S=all

-m=NETWORKS

When we get ~90K hosts ntopng crashes after clicking on any links in UI with:

 WARNING: Script failure
[/usr/share/ntopng/scripts/lua/pro/get_from_top_talkers_db.lua][not enough
memory]

and ntop must be restarted. I have taken steps illustrated in this thread with
–x & -X but am surprised this issue is even happening as that thread is for a
version <2.0 and we are using 2.1. I have downloaded latest releases from 12/18
for both ntopng & nprobe and will upgrade this evening. I am not able to
confirm –X or –x as workaround as it is weekend.

If it matters box is VM w/4 cores and 8GB of ram on IBM M3 4 host cluster. I
have plenty of compute power to beef it up if need be.
