Hi,
I have just installed ntop 1.3.1 on a 486 33 w/ 32 megs ram, running
Linux 2.2.18 (Slackware 7.1). Autoconf and make ran and built without
errors.
With -w 7777, and a number of additional parameters I tried, ntop will
quit with "Segmentation fault" when I try and modify or delete a user, or
modify or delete URLs. I therefore cannot secure ntop properly. Instead, I
changed the default password from "admin" to my chosen password in
admin.c. I then added a URL which blocked everything except to the user
admin. This was enough, but ntop then segfaulted again while I was surfing
through stats. Does anyone have any idea what is causing these segfaults?
Thanks
BTW, it was using up an average of 30% CPU, and over 10 megs ram, if
memory serves.
