I don't know which OS you have, but if you've ntop running on a linux machine, you can also do the following: Compile tcpwrapper support into ntop and then restrict the access to the ntop web services via the files /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny. You can configure which IP addresses are allowed to open a connection to ntop. I don't know exactly if that's what you wanted...
