1. Check the version that comes with Ntop's Windows demo
I've used that version on 98SE and 2K, never tried XP.
I don't know that it's been tested on XP. You may be in for trouble...
Remember that libpcap 0.6.2 predates the XP release...
You may have to get the source and try to build it. The base page is
http://www.tcpdump.org, but ugh...
2. libpcap is invasive.
I strongly recommend rebooting after you uninstall it and again after
the install.
You could also post the event log messages instead of asking us to guess
what they say...

The beta version of NTOP 2 worked, however when I upgraded to version 2
final it started doing the above.
I'm sure it's the WinPcap library not installing properly as the event
log has entries saying that it cannot find a

be installed where? And what registry entries
Are required?
I've tried de-installing, then re-installing winpcap a few times. No
joy.
