#1 no, you're wrong. Check the back traffic and the FAQs at
http://snapshot.ntop.org - it's been discussed a couple of times (look at
"Userids - why?").

#2 I proposed a patch in a msg to Igor - haven't heard back from him. Look
for the thread "[Ntop] --accuracy-level options"

#3 In the configuration page, the lsof of "lsof Support" is a link to the
directory at Purdue.

Please also limit yourself to ONE question per message each with a
meaningful title - that makes it easier for the next person to find it.

Subject: [Ntop] admin Password / Sessions and lsof question

Hi All

I have a few questions concerning Ntop 2.0.1.

1. is there a way, that when somebody connects to ntop's webinterface, one
have to enter the admin password before he sees anything ? Am i right, that
the admin "account" is only used for shutting down ntop and reseting the
counters ?

2. If i click on IP Protos --> Sessions i get:
Requested data is not available as due to
the way you started ntop (command line flags)

Sorry... hehe i can't find any command line flags to enable the sessions
monitoring !... What am i doing wrong ?

3. what is lsof ? where can i get it ?

Cheers

Marcel
