Every paper I've ever read about traffic distribution on the net describes
it as fractal. Or fractal in cycles.

I don't think ntop will work for you - you would need access to major
backbones to use ntop to collect data.  The best tool for showing this is
usually mrtg.

statistical theory, is it Poisson , Erlang or someother distribution.
My question how do we find the internet statistical distribution
by using ntop?. Or the question is, Can we find the statistical distribution
by using ntop ?
