Depends on which version of ntop you are running - there were two bugs that
caused it to use 100% of the cpu.  From my notes, one was fixed 5Apr2002,
the other was sometime around then.

If you're running versions after those, then yes, the P166MMX isn't got
enough oomph.

But we've talked about that on the list before...

Certainly the 22Apr2002 snapshot WITH the patches I've posted to make it
compile has the fixes...

Is that too much for my tiny Processor (P166MMX 64MB RAM)???
I thought I'd stick to another more powerful machine ONLY for
firewalling/gateway/ntop .
What do you suggest???
