In reverse order...
We welcome contributions of tools, plugins, add-ons, code, and ESPECIALLY
documentation. Best is to send them to [EMAIL PROTECTED] which is Luca's prefered
account for attachments. With a covering note about what it is, does, etc.
No reply to a "bug" report to the list means either:
* We don't understand it
* We don't think it's a problem
* (Most likely) nobody has time/interest to look at it.
Most debugging is self-help anyway - I can't see your environment, login to your
machine, etc.
I think you need to back-track - find the name of the table, find the INSERT and then
see what's being inserted. Similarly, find the report and see what's being reported.
Then make sure they are the same thing...
So... INSERT DELAYED INTO TCPsessions (Client, Server, ClientPort,...) is in mySQL.c
in mySQLnotifyTCPSession(), which is called from notifyTCPSession() in sql.c which is
called from handlePluginSessionTermination() in sessions.c...
etc.
On that very brief look, it seems like it's only getting called when a session times
out. The sessions in the report are ACTIVE ones. That could be the difference right
there.
You can test this by firing up say an ftp client and being a big download. That
session should show up in the reports. After it finished and expires it should be
sent to the database.
That's my thoughts for now...
FYI: Anything sent to me personally gets a reply IF I feel like it, but I always copy
it back to the list...
