I have discovered some more information. If I run it with -K parameter it seems to run fine, so far.
This leads me to believe it must be something with fork() on the "Read Only" html pages.

Subject: [Ntop] ntop processes go to sleep

1) When I run ntop it seems to chug along doing fine, until I try and access the web page. When I access the web page the command prompt
appears, several of the ntop processes, monitored with top, disappear and the remaining ones go to sleep and don't seem to wake up.
I am still able to access the web pages and look at data, but it doesn't appear to be changing. I can use the admin tab to shut
down ntop and it eventually exits cleanly.

2)          /usr/local/bin/ntop  -P /usr/local/share/ntop/ -u ntop -i eth1
3)        Compiled from source, downloaded this morning 10/25/02
           OS:LFS 4.0
           gcc 3.2
mrtg, apache, syslog-ng, screen, normal kernel stuff.

4)         AMD 1800+, KT3 ultra mb, 512 Meg memory, dlink nic cards.

5)         T1x2, around 40 machines.
