All traffic on the local interface (eth1) is logged as expected. I found this mail while digging through the archives, http://lists.ntop.org/pipermail/ntop/2002-July/002174.html and since the patch was applied I reverted it but packets are still not logged by ntop. tcpdump (libpcap-0.7.1) does log packets on ppp0 (theese packets arent logged by ntop): 09:33:28.765199 172.183.227.49.1046 > 66.157.192.207.www: S 1847938526:1847938526(0) win 5840 <mss 512,sackOK,timestamp 7198850[|tcp]> (DF) 09:33:28.765363 66.157.192.207.www > 172.183.227.49.1046: S 1833539566:1833539566(0) ack 1847938527 win 5760 <mss 1452,sackOK,timestamp 86492232[|tcp]> (DF) 09:33:30.128001 172.183.227.49.1046 > 66.157.192.207.www: P 1:426(425) ack 1 win 5840 <nop,nop,timestamp 7198967 86492232> (DF) 09:33:30.128092 66.157.192.207.www > 172.183.227.49.1046: . ack 426 win 6500 <nop,nop,timestamp 86492369 7198967> (DF) Any help would be welcome, Andreas _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
