I had a similar problem, where it wouldn't connect at all on my old box. Pressing STOP and then refresh (enter) would fix it for me. Once in a blue moon, it would connect - but the 1st time an IE instance connected to ntop, it would fail better than 99% of the time.
You can try the ignore sigpipe and ssl watchdog options, but ... As I said, I had the problem on my Win2K box for both IE 5.5 and 6.0... A fresh install of XP (IE6) solved it. I just got used to pressing stop and refresh. I *think* it's an IE bug, probably from some patch or other, having to do with the multiple simultaneous connections opened by IE to read the nested frameset. There are some tantilizing hints all throughout google that IE and NS work very differently with the nested frame sets, although NS is the one more likely to lock up. ------Burton ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Sylvain Martinez <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wed, 8 Jan 2003 16:23:19 +0000 > >Hi ! > >I was wondering if any of you has ever tried the following: > >I am running smoothwall, and would like to have more info about my network traffic.
