I wasn't trying to be serious, I just got defensive, being accused of being
demanding etc . . .

I can figure out the exact switches I'll use with ntop/plugins, I'm really
interested in the ntop to mySQL part.

Using ntop & various routers sending netflows I normally clock in at
about 7 gigs per day, 
 then again I am using this setup over a very large network. 
For two machines and a gateway, the amount of days you would like to
record and in what detail +  hosts*traffic (or some thing about there
