Have you tried using cygwin? Cygwin is a unix environment for windows, you might be able to simply use make and gcc.
The authors of Ntop might not be willing to distribute the proper vc++
files, because they sell the windows version for profit, but give away the
unix verstion for free. That's just a guess.
