Hi, guys/girls

I supply Linux support services to a number of organisations. I have
implemented ntop on a number of gateways/firewalls. Most of my clients
connect to their ISP via ADSL, which provides only non-static IP's (this
is Africa ...).

At least once a week this ISP (the local telco monopoly) bounces the ADSL
line (something to do with the "dhcp leases", probably a BandAid to
attempt to sort out a problem they just don't have the savvy to grasp).
Point is, ntop sees the PPPx device disappear and discontinuous to scan
the device (correctly) and seeming fails to see it when it appears again
seconds later.

Any way in which ntop can be goaded into resuming the scanning/collecting
without a restart ? BandAid script ? SIGINT ?
