Changing interfaces ONLY affects displaying of data - the
collection threads keep running in the background.

Netflow collector. However,
monitoring ethernet interfaces I can
use -M option to separate the traffic values. In
this case, using the switch page I can see each one
individually.

Subject: [Ntop] Multiple NTOP Processes in LinuxI am running ntop on FC3 linux with no problems. I would like ntop to run on one web port (4000) for one netflow interface and another (3000) for a different netflow interface. This is because if you are using one web interface, you have to switch between NIC's thus stopping netflow data collection on one interface.
Is it a problem to run two ntop processes like:
#/usr/bin/ntop -i none @/etc/ntop.conf
then a second:
#/usr/bin/ntop -i none -w 4000 -u ntop2 -P /usr/share/ntop2
