(1) information about your setup - that's in the FAQ under 'How to ask for
help'
$ ps ax | grep ntop
85056 ?? Ss 79:33.39 /usr/local/bin/ntop -d --use-syslog=daemon -i xl2
(2) the true failure point information - for which there are instructions
on
how to run under gdb at the bottom of the FAQ.
I´m sorry, but, where is the FAQ?
I didn´t see any link to FAQ in the front page, neither in the "docs"
session not in the "support" session.
Thanks,
Ronan

Subject: [Ntop] Web server
Hello,
I installed ntop-3.2_2 on a FreeBSD-5.4-RELEASE.
Everything seems to be working fine until I access the webserver to see the
statitics.
When I access it, it crashes.
Looking for error messages, the system log shows a core dump
error:
--------------------
May 29 14:41:11 fox kernel: pid 60275 (ntop), uid 65534: exited on signal 11
May 29 14:41:11 fox kernel: xl2: promiscuous mode disabled
--------------------
Although ntop is chashing, the system doesn´t seems to have any hardware
problem, once it has some services (DHCPD, NAT, Apache, PHP, MRTG and MPD)
besides the system itself , working fine.
I have seeing the the ntop documentation I can´t change the default
webserver by Apache, only redirect.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ronan
