Dear Rivalino,

Thanks for your information about the variables related. I look forward to
reply from development team.

Besides, I would like to make a note about the -m switch too. Besides the
variable size Rivalino mentioned, I think another issue is that I cannot
input a list which is too long in command prompt as shell like bash has a
command line size limit (256 chars for example) . Can I input the list using
a file instead?

Best Regards,
Nat

Subject: RES: [Ntop] international bandwidth monitoring

Hi Nat,

Looking at the code I realize the default max number of subnets (-m) is 32,
based on the MAX_NUM_NETWORKS (globals-defines.h). Also, there is a default
size of the command line buffer that is 4096 bytes. Can somebody from the
development team to validate? Is there something else that can be changed to
increase the size of the -m list ?

Good luck,

Rivalino

Assunto: [Ntop] international bandwidth monitoring

Hi,

I attempted to put all the ip in my geographically local place as "local"
network in the conf such that I can use ntop for international bandwidth
accounting.
However, seems the list is too long and I can't input it.

My questions
1. any method to input the list ?
2. Other than using this method, is it possible to archive it by using
a plugin or modifying the source?

By the way, I got the geographic location from :
http://software77.net/cgi-bin/ip-country/geo-ip.pl
I also generated p2c table using this too.

Thanks
Nat
