Hi everyone,
I am using Ntop to monitoring a little heavy network traffic(about 100 Mb/s).
But currently there is a problem which confused me:
When ntop run for a long time,I use command "ps -ef | grep ntop" to montor ntop
process.
I find that there are so many processes(at least 50) named ntop,as following:

root 214 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
root 215 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
root 216 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
root 222 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
root 234 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
root 235 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
root 236 0.0 7.3 36500 4488 ? S 17:30 0:00 /usr/local/bin/ntop -u root
.....
Then I shutdown ntop with web page menu. But there are still many ntop processes
in linux OS(CentOS4.0).So far ntop can not start any more unless I use "kill -9
process-id" to kill all ntop process.

Could someone help me? Thanks a lot!

Best regards
