Alvaro, In my experience it depends on the behavior of the traffic (stable, burst, etc.) you are monitoring. I had experience on links with this capacity and a stable traffic using a low-end machine (RAM 512 / CPU 2 Ghz, PCI 3COM ethernet NIC 100 mpbs). Related to mass storage (HD) all depends on how you are using ntop (ntop command line switches).
