I have a paper about this subject, however it was written in Portuguese. If
you are interested send a msg in pvt.

However, to do that you just need set up the Linux bridging functionality
[1] that will create a logical bridge interface used by ntop instead of the
individual interfaces (eth0, eth1, …).

  Hi all

  Just started working on my network

  and looking for some document which can setup step by step config of
  NTOP in Bridge Mode, any one can point me to right document
  iam googling.. found many but not suite my requirement

  my setup look like this

  i have P4 with 512MB RAM, for testing with 3 ethernet cards


  LAN--------(eth1)NTOP(eth0)---- internnet Router
                             |
                          Eth2
                         (Laptop cross cable)

  i want to monitor my network using my laptop

  eth0 and eth1 should be in bridge mode

  eth2 have internal IP should not be monitored..

  any suggestions
