Sounds like it could be the same root cause as described in the "[Ntop] Plugins
not loaded if run as a daemon" thread
It appears no one has any idea about a resolution

The workaround I am using it to background the process in the startup script.
Ugly, but at least it runs.

Subject: [Ntop] html not working if run as daemon

hi guys,

i posted a problem report
(http://listgateway.unipi.it/pipermail/ntop/2007-February/012520.html),
but thought i'd post in plain speak too.

i seem to have problems when i add the --daemon/-d parameter to the
command line options for ntop.

When i run without --daemon, everything works ok.

When i run with --daemon, the top nav menu doesn't appear and the html
pages don't look right. seems like the css is missing.

anyway, it works fine as long as i don't use --daemon.

is there a fix/workaround for this?

J
