I turned on debug (-K) option and it did not produce any further
information.. 

 

I did do some experimenting though:

 

   Clean install of NTOP - OK
   Start NTOP - OK

   Stop NTOP - OK

   Restart NTOP - OK

 

 

  Configure NETFLOW plugin - OK  (configured on port 2055, with a network of
192.168.0.0/24)

 Switch NIC to display NETFLOW data -OK

   NTOP collects and displays NETFLOW without a problem

   Stop NTOP - OK

   Restart NTOP - FAILS

 

It seems that there's something with the NetFlow plugin that's causing NTOP
to not restart properly but I can't see anything informative in the log
files with debug turned on.
