Hello,
I've just compiled ntop and am running into completely random Segmentation fault errors. I followed the instructions on the http://www.ntop.org/download.html page, but am running into the segfault errors. My system is a x86, running RHEL4. I don't see anything useful in the /var/log/messages. Could this be a permissions issue on /usr/local/ntop and /usr/local/var/ntop? I saw quite a few errors scroll by saying that ntop couldn't create the folders: interface, graphics, rrd etc.. so I created them manually and restarted ntop. I am running ntop as root - do I have to chown the files to owned by 'nobody'? Is there a log file I am not seeing that I should attach?
