I am newbie to ntop I installed ntop 3.2 on my CentOS4 server (used as gateway) I found ntop quite nice to user. Here is my problem: I know ntop use rrd to save data, so that data space will not rise to a large number. It's very cute. However, I will also lose foregoing detail data. If I need a function to see every day's 'Host Traffic Stats' for each ip. I don't mind disk space cost Maybe use mysql for collaboration. If I did not misunderstand ntop's mechanism, does ntop has such plugins or functions? PS: Cacti use mysql to store data, may I use it co-work with ntop? If yes, how can we easily periodically get data I want. (I haven't read ntop code and I don't want to read rrdtool command if not necessary) Any one has further opinion? Massive thanks for any help.
