FWIW I think the dnsCache.db gets corrupted somehow. I notice ntop runs fine at the beginning but after time it starts crashing more and more frequently. Delete the dnsCache.db and the cycle starts all over again.

It would die for no reason, just catch a sig 11 and go away, after random amounts of time < 24 hours.. Then, after a while, I wouldn't even be able to start it up, it would just die. I ended up deleting the rrd directories and most of the databases, leaving only lswatch.db, fingerprint.db, macprefix.db, ntop_pw.db and prefscache.db. So far, it's been up for almost a week, and I'm crossing my fingers.
