Hi i am running the open-xtra win ntop package on my
windows xp machine, its receiving netstat packets from
a cisco router. it works well but after an hour or
two or sometimes a day or 10 minutes it just stops
working, the http requests just sit there saying
"Waiting for 127.0.0.1:3000" and never go anywhere. I
then restart the service and it starts working but i
lose all the data of course. So I am wondering if
anyone knows why this might happen. Also is there a
newer windows version? I cant find anything but the
old version I am already using. I am going to list
the ver info:

Report created on Thu Feb 14 18:15:42 2008 [ntop
uptime: 19 sec]
Generated by ntop v.3.2 [WinNT/2K/XP]
© 1998-2005 by Luca Deri, built: Nov 2005.
Listening on [Intel_0,cisco1721] for all packets (i.e.
without a filtering expression)
Web reports include only interface "cisco1721"

Any help would be great. I do have a linux server
that I could possibly use, maybe I should switch to
that?

thjanks
Mike
