It looks like that the computers are connected directly to the router. 
probabily this router can be monitored through SNMP.
In other to monitor the traffic using ntop, if every machine is connected 
directly to the router, I recommend to use a switch and then the link btw 
the switch and the router passing through a linux-bridging box running ntop. 
Also, you could choose to use a basic repeater where ntop should be 
listening the machnies traffic.
