I'm over this thread. I didn't intend to single you out because trust
me, you're not alone. But go back and look at your posts and you'll see
most (if not all of them) of them are covered. We're all busy! At some
point people will stop answering not only your questions, but they'll
quit the list and won't be here to answer anyone's questions. No one
has every argument and setting memorized and no one expects you to, but
"generally" it is expected you'll take some initiate to learn the
products' (nTop) features and options - especially the ones that are
WELL documented. There are SO many tweaks and you'll never know they
even exist if you don't read and make note of those that are interesting
to you.

Anyone that wants to flame me, feel free - but please do so off list.

G

Gary

I was being pretty lazy and was very business and I thought some one
would not mind giving me this information off the top of their head,
probably quicker then me looking it up.

Yes I should have taken the time to look it up and probably should have
and YES I have read the man pages but do not have it memorized.

But I thought your comments were uncalled for.

Dude, seriously? I'm in a bad mood so I'll probably sound like a d!ck,
but 95% of the questions you've asked are BASIC $hit covered in the man
pages and/or the FAQ. I STRONGLY recommend you read these in their
entirety and make notes for things applicable for you and your
environment. There are a LOT of good things in there!

I think this is what you're after - >From the man page:

-r | --refresh-time

Specifies the delay (in seconds) between automatic screen updates for
those generated HTML pages which support them. This parameter allows you
to leave your browser window open and have it always displaying nearly
real-time data from ntop.

The default is 3 seconds. Please note that if the delay is very short (1
second for instance), ntop might not be able to process all of the
network traffic.

I don't think the default is 3 seconds, but nonetheless this is the
flag/arg.

To list

I am trying to find a way to change the refresh rate on the web viewer
screen for NTOP. Does anyone know where that setting is?

Thanks
