I have read many posts, data to dump all checked, detail maximum but it
isn't still what I need. Is it possible to do this?: For each host count
traffic (until manually purge) with resuming after restart to log how
much data did that client transferred over month for exapmle? (with rrd
only) SQL is IMHO tooo much for monitoring one interface isnt it? M
Gary Gatten napsal(a):
Google for ntop and rrd - and maybe check the ntop FAQ, there's a doc on
sourceforge that explains most of it.
"ALL" details are not maintained in RRD. But, check the config of the
rrd plugin of "Data to Dump" and "RRD Detail". Probably enable Hosts
and at least Medium level.

Subject: [Ntop] Resume data after restart
Hello, Im sorry to write here, but after many hours googling didnt find
any answer. I have default ntop package on debian box running ok with
RRD plugin enabled. The problem Is that after restart it looses data for
hosts. The only history keeped is for the interface and some graphs for
clients. How should I set the configuration twhen I need dataIN, dataOUT
and other details keep for each host. Thank you for any help.M
