Hi all,
In fact, what happens if you disable sessions at all? Do you see any problem?

I'm still having problems with Ntop dying. Generally I get this log entry.

You, Gary, and several others have reported the same issue a lot
recently on several different OS platforms so I doubt this is a libpcap
or glibc issue.

The fact that Luca made these comments in the last few days is possibly
the most relevant thing in response:

I'm still working at address resolution (it has been a long-time open
issue)

...and...

As soon as the DNS code is stable I will recode (yes recode, not just
patch) them.

From that I'd say it's safe to assume the Luca has finally identified
some problems, which many of us have been looking towards a DNS cache
handling / name resolution issue, as well as a session handling problem.

I'd say he's fairly busy to be honest :)

Shall we wait to see what he finds?

Graeme
