Ignore sigpipe is a configure option. Check the man/faq about webserver dying with no error. Also try -t d and maybe -K? I'm OOO so can't really help more right now.

So is there a prevailing thought on troubleshooting this problem, or should I just try those two suggestions and see what mileage I get out of them?
