Not sure but I believe it is loading the 32 bit version as I see this from the
desktop. The system is Windows 8 64 bit though

I have seen similar issues when using the 64 bit version of each. Are you using
the 32 bit or the 64 bit version of IE on these systems?Does the issue persist
if you switch between the versions?

I am having a similar issue IE 10 on Windows 8 x64 loads the first tab
partially, meaning it is calling the tab but nothing loads (tab address is
about:Blank), which being that it should load a blank page very fast. Waiting
a minute or 3 maybe 5 and suddenly all the rest load including the blank one.
Closing and reopening the browser does not seem to help most of the time but
occasionally it seems to help, or maybe I am just waiting long enough for it to
finally resolve whatever is the direct issue. This is on a SSD drive to make
me even more confused.

To be honest other than noting the issue I have not investigated any further
than noting the issue. It is on my list of to-do but I have only 3 days to
preform a test upgrade of 8 to 8.1 before doing a client upgrade and I am still
doing my research on that.

Having some weird issue with IE 10 and
11 on my home machine. Its 64-bit Windows 7 and running IE 9 no issues.
Using AVG 2014 for AV. All is well until I get the update for IE.
Happened with IE 10 and now IE 11. Symptoms are very odd. Load IE and initial
page comes up, but then you can't navigate to any other page or link. No
error, just won't load. And you can close it OK, it doesn't seem to be
hung. Only will open to the first page/link. As soon as I uninstall
and go back to IE 9 all is well. Initially thought this was some virus
or rootkit. Virus scan turns up nothing nor does Combofix.exe

Anyone ever see something like this?
