Pretty sure you could easily do this in Citrix using a NetScaler Gateway
and various settings on StoreFront/Web Interface.

Not that it helps you in your VMware implementation, I know, but it's an
example of where VMware have a lot of catching up to do to really challenge
Citrix on the XenApp/XenDesktop front.

Can't you use a separate device to broker the external connections to View
in this case?
