The Tektronix(Xerox) Phaser 850 is similar with the wax carts.

Lexmark has a color printer that I was amazed with (I don't remember the
model). It used solid color wax bars, kind of like big crayons, rather than
ink. The depth of the color print was better than I'd ever seen in a printer
that size, which is about twice the size of an HP LJ2100. I believe the cost
hovered just over $2000.

I'd like to look into getting a new color printer for our office. We
currently use an HP Color Laserjet 5. I won't bore you with my opinions of
