Toshiba Tecra Question

Hi all,   I have a 2 Gb disk in an old laptop (a Toshiba Tecra 730 XCDT).  When I run fdisk, I can create partitions and all.. But after I've reboot, the partition info has "gone"...   Anyone any thoughts?   Thanks   Rob http://www.sunbelt-software.com/ntsysadmin_list_charter.htm
