Jeff,

These are two separate domains. As far as WINS it wasn't setup initially but
then was just to see if that would make the difference. The results were the
same, a message box asking for a password with the following prompt \\< 2000
PDC >\IPC$ when ever a client machine in the 2000 or NT domain attempted to
contact any server under the 2000 domain.

Are they 2 separate domains? Do you have WINS setup on your network too?

Hi Kent,

The NT PDC is running sp 6a and on the same network as the 2000 PDC. The NT
Domain was added to the search path of the 2000 PDC and the same was done
with the NT PDC (placed in the lmhost file, is there another place?). Both
PDC are able to ping each other with no problems. As far as location, both
are in the same building with the NT PDC in the MIS department and the 2000
PDC in the validation lab. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated and
thank you for the ones you have mention.

.. What SP is the NT PDC running. You could try adding the
NT domain in the 2000 DNS search list. Try ping, tracert, nslookup.
Is the NT domain nearby? On the same network?
Kent
