I suppose now it all depends on how many
users.
If we are talking about a quite a few 98 machines,
it might be worth looking at scripting a vbs to do it, have a detect for the OS
in it, and run the winipcfg, release and renew, bingo.
I think it's a quick solution, but only if you or
one of your colleagues know vbs or (excuse me) WSH.
Otherwise it might be worth just doing the old
"bugga it" and go round the machines during the day, hitting release renew
manually on the machines :) *how long can it take?* heheheheh.
