All you want to do is see who logged in and out of the box?
Dave, open up your favorite web browser. Enter in the IP address of your
3005. Log in. Go to the monitoring section, and take a look at what you
have. If this is adequate, great. If not, you can add some lines to your
config to log the data to a different box (hopefully you have something
that runs some form of UNIX). The "logging" command under Cisco's IOS is
the tool you need. For additional information on the IOS that you are
running, visit Cisco's website, or look at the software configuration guide
that came with the 3005.

Sorry but I'm not sure. How much logging can the vpn hold before it starts
to write over itself. I want to be able to go back a day a week and look
at who came in.
Thanks
dave

what types of traffic do you need to log? Or do you just need to log the
amount of traffic in and out ?

Subject: Logging VPN traffic
I am looking for a way to log cisco 3005 vpn concentrator traffic. I am
getting an upgrade to webtrends but that is just for the firewall and they
want too much for the vpn part. Any ideas. As always thanks in advance.
