Subject: [LIST ADMIN MESSAGE] NY ATTACK
Importance: High
Dear NTSysAdmin Team,
Everyone in Sunbelt is shocked and horrified
about this terrorist suicide attack today. We
understand that you want to discuss this issue,
but that emotions can easily get the upper hand.
It is OK to discuss the attack on this list, but
I have to insist to keep the discussion civil.
(violators will be taken off the list). Life
will not be the same after this. From the
viewpoint of a system admin, you will get much
more focus on disaster recovery. Prepare for
questions from your management.
The best way to handle attacks like these is
to show the terrorists you keep our head cool,
keep life going, and show them no one can get
you down. I'm sure the US government is going
to find out who is responsible and hit them
hard.
Warm regards,
Stu
