  Earlier today, www.cnn.com was unreachable.  A traceroute showed the
network dyeing off at an address something like

        cnn-ntower.atny.net

  (Don't remember the exact address, sorry.)  It would appear that CNN's
website might have been hosted in the North Tower of the World Trade Center
in New York.  In that event, I imagine their current website is a site put
together "by hand" while they implement whatever their disaster recovery
plan was.
