Now that flame was actually amusing. Guys, trust me, the debates between these 3
religions (Islam, Judiasm, and Christianity) are numerous and have been raging for
1,000's of years. They won't be solved here.

Suffice to say that lumping all Muslim's together is akin to saying that all Christian
would kill abortionist just because a few of them have. Most of the people that
follow any of the religions are outraged at the loss of human life. Debating which
one is right is better left for another day. Debating whether or not it is wrong to
hold all of a particular religion responsible for the actions of a few would seem to
fit today, but I doubt that anyone here is going to solve it any time soon.

The grieving I understand. The debates on our policies towards our "neighbors" I
understand. Even the debates on what part America holds when doling out the
responsibility for this attack I understand. Trying to reconcile things that are
diametrically opposed I don't. The religions will not jibe. That in no way, shape,
or form, means that the followers of each religion will now (or should now) kill each
other. It merely means that even people as intelligent as those on this list will not
fix this one.

Thank you. Now that I have my daily dose of Islam from the NTSYSADMIN
mailing list, I think I'll head on over to my Network newsgroup and read up
on Buddhism.

I just visited this site link! The teachings of Islam seem to be very
Anti-Christ. They don't seem to deny Jesus existed;
only that He is the Son of God who came in the flesh, died on the cross for
the sins of mankind, was buried, rose again and is now seated at the right
hand of God.
Further I noted that they believe salvation is through not only belief in
God but through works; forgiveness of sins is obtained by converting to
Islam...??? They go to great lengths to substantiate Muhammad' s
qualifications as a prophet by quoting the Old Testament??? Hmmm... If they
then use the Old Testament as a base to substantiate Muhammad why wouldn't
they then see that in the Old Testament under the Law there is NO remission
of sin without the shedding of blood in the form of a sacrifice (Lamb)?

Jesus who lived without sin was made sin and slain as a sacrifice for the
sins of all men. For as sin entered the world through one man (Adam) sin
was atoned for by one man (Jesus). For God so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

My humble opinion,

Harry Campbell

Last night while watching my son at Pop Warner football practice, this
tragedy was of course the topic of conversation. It's amazing to me how
many experts there are.

One guy was talking about why Muslims hate Christians. Being pretty damn
ignorant, I decided to do a little research this morning, and found this
site - www.islam-guide.com. Maybe it's watered down a bit, and it doesn't
explain religious fanaticism. But at least I understand their religion a
little bit better.

Just thought I throw this out. At least for me, education and
understanding goes a long way.

On top of Revelation, the book of Daniel also makes for an interesting
read.

I'm not going to use this forum (or my employer's time) to proselytize.
I would just encourage those who do not believe that the Bible is the
word of God to maybe reconsider when Israel becomes involved in an
all-out war in the Middle East. If I'm wrong and the war never happens,
you can thumb your nose at me and laugh. But if I'm right and the war
DOES happen, grab yourself a Bible and start reading it with the state
of mind that it may not just be a book full of fiction after all.
Intellectuality and faith are not mutually exclusive.

That's all I'm going to say on the matter, so please withhold the flames
(unless you want to send them to me personally off the list).

Hi People,
I'd just like to express sadness to all the people in the US effected by
the attacks on US. I think it's disgusting and should be punished.
While people everywhere are in a state of shock/uncertainty/fear it's
worth thinking about where each of us are going to spend our eternal
destiny. The Bible predicts basically a World War 3 where everyone will
attack Israel and try to wipe them off the face off the earth...
Revelation is an interesting book to read through........ Have a good
day (and think about the following excert). Regards Matthew
