Sec patches can be used on both workstation & server. Recommend at lease
ms01-026, ms01-033 & ms01-044.

Careful with the NT 6a sec rollup - can cause workstations/server to crash,
update bios & device drives to latest rev 1st. Then install SP6a.

http:[EMAIL PROTECTED] is a good
page with step by step instructions for removing the virus.

Subject: Nimda Help for NT

We were hit by the Nimda on both our NT and 2000 machines. We are working
now to recover them.

Is there a single (web) page that lists all of the requirements patch
requirements to make that NT machine protected from this virus.
I have seen MS01 numbers and Qnumbers but I haven't found the a site that
matches these numbers up. I have also heard about some roll-up patch and
if anybody can point me to those that would be great too.

Are there companies who can provide the expertise necessary to keep these
machines protected. We do have the resources to have a full time security
person on-site but it would seem that a company could provide the services
need to persistantly keep up with the security issues.

Thanks
Scott Vanderlip
