We have used Amidiag with good results, can boot from a floppy and has extensive tests including SCSI, around $150 see www.ami.com and they have a demo. Sadly in the year we have been using it on problem machines have only found one bad memory chip. - all the rest have (eventually) turned out as O/S or software issues. Be nice to have a quick hardware fix for a change.

I have a machine that is acting very flaky and I know that it is not the software. Do you all know of some good utils to test all of the hardware components?
