I don't have a %ver% variable... do you mean to do this?

ver > "c:\automate\Results.txt"

Subject: WTF (VER in batch, Win7)

This works as expected:
echo %computername% > "c:\automate\Results.txt"

This does not: (The TXT file contains %ver% instead of the expected "Microsoft
Windows [Version 6.1.7601]")
echo %ver% > "c:\automate\Results.txt"

Anyone?
