I haven't found APC to be anything special. I've had several of their units drop the load during a self-test. I've had multiple units have the batteries swell up and get jammed in the chassis, requiring extensive dismantling to be removed. The LE1200 voltage regulators seem to have a design flaw where the tap selector relay gets stuck and won't start under load; their support people will replace the unit if it's under warranty, but seem unable to understand the concept of a design flaw. Note that I say I haven't found APC to be *special*. That means they're no better, but also no worse, than any other brand of UPS. They all seem to suck in various ways. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to listmana...@lyris.sunbeltsoftware.com with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
