fixed it... clearing the cache for the specific site didnt work (even
though it was the correct info showing in the cache for that site), but
clearing the entire server cache did fix it.. go figure.

Subject: failed DNS request

>From one of my customers, they cannot resolve DNS to an IP for
www.spokeskids.com . Doing an nslookup shows "can't find spokekids.com:
server failed". However, if I do a nslookup with "www.spokekids.com
208.67.222.222" then it resolves (figured I would test that to OpenDNS even
though they don't use OpenDNS)

Their DNS server is a Windows 2008 R2 box. No other sites report problems.
I can resolve www.spokekids.com from other sites, but not from this
customer.

Clearing out the DNS cache on their DNS server did not resolve it. Seems
like there's something goofy going on here. They do NOT use any
forwarders, so it just out to Root servers for requests that cannot be
fulfilled internally.

Any ideas how to get their DNS servers to resolve it properly?

J
