I am only familiar with 3 Letter acronyms, not 2 letter ;) "and not integrate with OL" ________________________________ From: Joseph L. I love the product, it's so light on resources and in my experience it caught stuff Trend didn't, but the company needs some surgery to correct the rectal cranium intrusion it has about the xml configs. jlc From: Sam Cayze [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 10:19 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: Anti - Virus recommendations Joe, are you using Smart Security Suite? Or is this for the AV client...? From: Joseph L. But the configuration of the clients is admittedly broken and unintuitive. If you want to set up a client to not do HTTP Filtering (Which pretty much limits you to text sites <grin>) and not integrate with OL (And not show a warning icon) and start out of the chute with certain exclusions it aint gonna work. You have to manually push the config back. Just a few minor deployment issues, as expected with any product. They were resolved right away via email. I found the Admin Console to be EXTREMEMLY intuitive and powerful. I don't get why people rant about it so much. I never had an issue with it, and I never had to reference the manual to solve something. It just works, and works solid. Don't fear it. I did look at NOD32 a while back, but as soon as they released version 3.0 I heard they had a lot of problems with it? I also thought the admin console wasn't the most intuitive either, however I was impressed by version 2.7. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.
