Hmmm. I did throw a reboot in there too. Sorry that I forgot to mention it.
I did the reboot and then the rescan.

That didn't help.

The patch did not ask for a reboot.  But, after rebooting manually the
problem went away.

If, after the first time you've installed it, go back to Windows Update and
tell it to check for updates again, it'll stop.

Hi All

I've seen that one too and it is required for SP1 to install. Fortunately 
the standalone installer will not need it as it will be included but 
otherwise you may have problems.
