I am having to say, I have been using my Vista laptop all day, which is an
older IBM T42 that I use on the road and Vista killed it before, now with
SP1 it runs like a champ(all the fluff turned off). No problems with
working remote, VPN's are quick and speedy, transfers of data work well.
Overall I am coming to dare I say, even Respect Vista. I have not played
with the printers yet, but by the June I would expect most of the printers
to be supported or documented that we have to replace.

They even changed the default method of connecting to RDP, oh I hated the
previous way.

Now if we can just get GP and Active Directory tools I may switch over for
the duration and run XP on a Virtual for my older apps.

I'm having a COM+ issue with SP1 that I never had with any of the betas.

Dave,

I had the same experience yesterday. It would show that my account was
TechNet Plus, but no option to download. I finally got a page with the
download on approximately my 6th trip to the MSDN downloads page. VERY
strange, but after that, the download was quick and the install simple and
straight forward. No real differences that I can see today after running SP1
for a little over 24 hours, but I had no problems with Vista prior to SP1
either.

I just downloaded the 32bit version from MSDN and averaged around
350KB/sec...sometimes spiking up to 600KB/sec. I love the OC3!!

Not with some Common sense and AV, and only download files you that people
have discussed and flagged as legit.

Been using usenet for years. Never found a virus on it.

I thought that they would not make it available for TechNet! And I can't see
on TechNet.
